Home again, home again....

Having spent the best part of the past three weeks either travelling to or from or being IN London.... I am slowly reacquainting myself with family life and trying and failing to stay ahead of the game.
My housekeeping needs to go up a grade or two... after two weeks of doing as I please and only having myself and the bubba to look after I am seriously out of whack!

London was fine, I did plenty of shopping... caught up with family and friends and would like to try and plan another visit in the summer if funds allow... but being away from children is hard. Even if two of them are nearly 21 & 22 and run the house seamlessly when you're away...

And now I'm back in charge again, and wreaking havoc on their carefully put together routine, but that's what haphazard mums are for... and honestly, I don't actually think I can do it any other way.
I know they secretly enjoy it... it has a high entertainment factor and it's good for FB updates and funny stories at gatherings...

And to illustrate my point quite nicely, I have two daughters talking wedding and outfits at me, a  2 year old playing cars and ignoring the second helping of food he asked for, an 8yr old who needs me to walk her back to school in less than half an hour and three children on their way home from lunch.... but lunch is cooked, dinner is half cooked and I'm almost at the point in my day where I can contemplate making something for afternoon tea without taking out my frustration on the baking tin, and even bread is looking like a vague possibility...

Alhamdulillah, I've missed Algeria, I'm glad to be home....

    1. ahlan biki Yusra.... I missed you all too... subhanallah I'm not sure how I managed to raise such helpful daughters, hopefully by example, not being afraid to give them responsibility, plenty of tarbiyyah Islamia...

Inshallah I got it right... allahu a3lam.
And the kisses have happily been given on your behalf xxx
