Moving slowly into Winter

The season is slowly changing here in Algiers, we notice it mostly in the early morning and nightime... the fan isn't on any more and there's no mad rush to get the window open in the morning to let in some fresh air... there's even a slight chill to the morning air on the walk to school...
It's all very subtle but we know that the cooler weather is coming, and we'll be staying indoors more and trying to create warmth in our chilly Algerian houses.

I used to love winter in the UK... I have yet to find the same love of winter here, it's a strange state of affairs when you step outside your house here and realise it's warmer outside than it is in...

I've normally started my winter crafting by now but I've lost my mojo a little this year..
There are plenty of projects that take my fancy, I just can't seem to whip up the enthusiasm needed to get them done...it could of course be the uninspiring synthetic "yarn" in a range of colours that run from yuck to bleugh that's putting me off!

Inshallah a trip to see my mum in the UK at the end of the month will help me find the inspiration I need...
And maybe I can pick up some some yummier yarn inshallah..
