What a bad negligent blogger I've been!
But it couldn't be helped... we were in full throttle during Ramadhan one way or another and there was nothing else to do but concentrate on fasting, praying and getting through the days and nights as well as we could.
Much of our ramadhan this year was slightly blighted by a truckload of stress and the inability of the male of the species to be able to deal with it efficiently... but life is what it is and we deal with it...
And now, summer is nearly finished... the awful humidity that's been plaguing us all summer has finally gone and it's so much fresher mashallah... On Sunday bi'idhnillah the children go back to school...
So the rest of this week is destined to be spent tidying up the house, organizing the children and getting the freezer defrosted and filled with pre-baked goodies for breaktime
That's the plan at any rate.. I will add that almost NONE of "plans" have come to fruition this summer...so if the next few days pan out the way I've predicted it will be nothing short of a minor miracle!
To be honest i'm looking forward to the structure, AND that first quiet cup of tea when they've all just walked out of the door......

were all in the same boat and just waiting even the kids are happy to go back ... but for how long that will last i dont know
