but I felt the need to have a bit of an internet break...
I stood back, reassessed a few things, spent time looking after my home and family... got healthy exercising, walking and losing weight... and generally just spent time staying away from almost everything and everyone...
It felt good, I feel better... I look better! I've slipped into a new routine and I like the differences I've made to the way I do things mashallah.
I haven't forgotten about my "Living Sunnah" posts... but it seems fitting to wait until the start of Ramadhan now and incorporate them into the blog then...
So apologies for the wait, but inshallah they'll be all the better for it.
The children are all out of school for the summer now and we're busy spring cleaning the house and getting it, and ourselves ready for ramadhan... waiting for the last couple of all important exam results and then it's all systems go for a month of fasting bi'idhnillah.
And wedding season started for us with a bang on Thursday, and we enjoyed our first and hopefully not last wedding party of the year... I love Algerian weddings... so over the top in every way possible and a great laugh...
I wish I had more to tell you after two months of silence but to be honest I haven't done anything much other than just kicking back and spending time looking after ME...and of course the nearies and dearies.
I'm hoping to be able to share ramadhan cooking and activities with you but I'm having PC issues... slowly but surely all my USB ports are knackering out, dying on me and refusing to read my memory card... so I'm going to try my best to get it sorted before ramadhan so that I have something purty to show for myself.
And that's about it I guess... the three year old is currently bursting eardrums screaming and I have the vague sensation that all hell is about to break loose within my humble domain... oh and the adhan has just gone off.... better run!!
Welcome back, darling! Hope you stick around this time. Did your boys pass the BEM? Results were out today:) hope they did well. Hope you have a fabulous Ramadan. xo
