I should have got here earlier to post pics of bread and biscotti...

At times though, life conspires against me... and it seems that 11-ish pm is the earliest I can get here these days...

Our evenings end late, after the younger children go to bed there is bread dough to throw about and whack in the oven.... and this evening I made up a couple of batches of vanilla biscotti before putting the wee man down to sleep..

I also started working on this today... the  work on the yarn basket yesterday paid off! Hopefully by the weekend dd8 should have a nifty little dress bodice to look forward to inshallah... 

It's menu planning day tomorrow... I slipped back into it quietly & made a few changes to the way I used to do things.... and, it seems to be working for the most part mashallah.

Taping my menu to the fridge helped keep me on the straight and narrow.. it was harder for me to back out and take easier but more expensive options once the children were aware of the plans I had in store for their bellies... but more about that tomorrow inshallah...

It's late, and I did today on three hours sleep and not enough coffee

I am working on bringing you pics, but with my camera out of action the only chance I get to snap at anything ( other than the children) is when the dh is home....

Try the bread and biscotti... they were both really easy to prep and bake, and have become firm favourites in our house...
